The Future of FutureRP

The begin with, I must thank everyone who has subscribed to the newsletter for their support. This is the very first newsletter ever sent out by FutureRP. May there be many more to come. As the title suggests, this month's newsletter is all about my plans for the game, and where I would like to see it in the future.

I envision the game becoming a highly polished interface to another world. Another galaxy to be exact. I see hundreds of destinations, each with their own monsters, merchants and back-stories. Scattered amongst these worlds, space stations, asteroids, moons - and anything else you can think of - are a tangled, interconnecting web of quests to embark upon. I see new, stronger weapons continually added as players push the level boundaries. I see properties to buy, territories for guilds to occupy, and ever more extravagant private space vessels to waste your Credits on!

But, how do we get to this point? How do we attain this state of perfection? Well, there are many factors and below, I will explain them to you.

The Objectives
In order to succeed in this goal, we need more players and more game content. The key to keeping/gaining more players is three fold. Firstly, we need to let them know we're here! I'll be starting a few advertising campaigns in the coming weeks. You can do your bit too, if you want to help. You each have a referral link that you can spread around, which rewards you in points (and the game, in new players). This is a one man show. I need all of the help I can get;)

The next major thing is content. The more stuff there is to do, the more entertained players will be. This means that they'll stay longer. You can help me with this too. Simply post your ideas for quests/storyline into the forum.

Finally, the Wiki. The Wiki is a very important thing that has been overlooked since day one. It is vital that the Wiki is filled with tutorials, walkthroughs and explanations about the game. Again, players will stay longer if they know what the hell they are supposed to be doing.

Well, I could go on and on (and I usually do), but I have to save something for next month's newsletter. Thank you for reading and keep your eyes open in the coming weeks! Lots of updates in March!
