Issue #4, August 4, 2009
Great News!
This is not junk, chain mail or unsolicited. If you would prefer not to get these messages, please send an email to newsletter-feedback@futurerp.net and we'll take you straight off the list!

Hello again!

Firstly, I must apologise for neglecting to send out the last two newsletters. We've been through the mill with Yahoo Mail, which was, by the second missed newsletter, completely blocking our mail (not just dumping it in the junk folder).

If you have this issue in the future, we recommend that you add noreply@futurerp.net to your trusted contacts. It should be fine without it this time, however.

Now, back to business...
Over the past few months, FutureRP has undergone some intensive work to optimise its codebase. Pages should, on average, load more swiftly than ever!

Thankfully, this work is finished now so I can turn to the more tangible updates. Instead of me deciding what to work upon next, I have passed that responsibility onto you!

A list of the most frequently suggested changes/improvements to gameplay has been compiled; displayed in the form of a poll. Everyone is allowed to vote for the two things they deem most vital to the progression of FutureRP. Here is the link to the forum post:

Poll: Vote for an update!

You need to be logged into the forum to vote, but everyone can view the poll - it's well worth a look.

In other news, four new items are being added to the speciality store tomorrow (wednesday) - see below!

RiftWars.net Officially Launched!
As you may be aware, I have branched out and created a second game, focused on combat and raiding, designed to be as close to the original FutureRP as possible. Its name is RiftWars and if you register through this newsletter within the next three days, you will recieve 3 days of free subscription, which unlocks extra features, more supplies and even allows you to set custom backgrounds for the game!

As a final note, to celebrate the release of a new game and the continuation of an existing one, I have enabled double points on all point purchases in FutureRP, starting right now! This means, for the rest of the week, every time you buy 50 points, you get 100 instead!
